The app provides flexibility depending on how you plan to use your data. When setting up your export, you can choose between two primary formats:
Export to Excel format (.xlsx): Best for manual data reviews, internal reporting, and stores using complex characters. This format preserves formatting better and avoids common "CSV encoding" issues when opening in Microsoft Excel.
Export to CSV format (.csv): The standard format for bulk data. Use this if you plan to re-import the data back into Shopify or another application, or if you are using Google Sheets for your edits.
